CES China A80 increased by 1.4% for the week. Index constituent China Shenhua Energy, which announced a special dividend, gained 16%. Constituents from infrastructure sector, such as China State Construction Engineering and Power Construction Corporation of China, also surged more than 8%.
CES China 280 Index, a cross-border large/mid-cap benchmark, rose by 0.9% and outperformed major Hong Kong indices.
CES Gaming Top 10 Index declined 0.7% after last week’s sharp rally.
